Experience a Real-Life Fairytale at This Unique and Enchanting Canadian Destination

Located in the majestic Rockies, home to some of the the most beautiful places to visit in Canada, you’ll find a unique and enchanting resort that will awaken your inner child. Surrounded by the dramatic and unforgettable landscapes of Alberta, the setting feels like something straight out of a Disney movie. You’ll realize that this resort is truly one of a kind from the moment you arrive.

Charmed Resorts was started by Tyson and Audy Leavitt and provides an experience for families that ignites imagination and creates a sense of wonderment regardless of age. What started as one cabin in Crowsnestpass, Alberta quickly grew to more than a dozen cottages spread across two locations — each filled with the incredible detail you’d picture in your fairytale dreams. Every guest cottage is uniquely designed and built, but one thing remains the same: The heart and soul poured into the property will make your stay unforgettable, and is an experience you will talk about for years to come.

How to get to Charmed Resorts and what to do

About 160 miles from Calgary’s International Airport, the scenic drive to Charmed Resorts’ Crowsnest Pass location takes three hours, providing an epic view of Alberta’s stunning landscapes and natural beauty. The drive itself will take your breath away, and once you reach the enchanting mountain resort, you’ll be greeted by fairytale cottages with names like Rapunzel’s Cottage, Hatterhouse, and Rumplestiltskin’s, and even Hook’s Pirate Ship.

Each cottage sleeps four to six guests and comes with bedding, a fridge, and other essentials, but keep in mind you will need to bring your own dishes and cutlery. Pricing varies but ranges from around $180 to $310 per night. Unwind in your private wood fired hot tub, roast marshmallows outside by the fire, or have a family picnic to take in the surroundings. Charmed Resorts is pet friendly, so you can bring your fuzzy family member with you to enjoy the outdoors as well.

Alberta is known for its wild beauty that attracts adventure seekers year round, making it one of the must visit destinations around the world for avid hikers. Charmed Resorts’ Crowsnest Pass location is the perfect jumping off point for hikers and mountain biking enthusiasts in the summer, and cross-country skiers or downhill snowboarders in the winter months. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out some other activities like the Crowsnest Pass Art Gallery, Lundbreck Falls, and for a sweet treat, head to Cinnamon Bear Bakery and Cafe.
