AFS is excited to announce the new program now available to the UK for semester programs in conjunction with Study Abroad UK. You will be prepared by AFS volunteers here in Australia for your program in the UK, the program in the UK will be run and facilitated by Study Abroad UK. We work closely with Study Abroad UK to ensure all strict requirements are met with regards to support and safety of AFS participants while on the program.
You can be placed anywhere in the UK yet most placements are urban, suburban, small town or rural. In general, small towns, villages or rural areas. Host families in the UK receive a small subsidy to assist with the cost of food and hosting AFS participants.
